Hi everyone, I hope you enjoyed your weekend! Last week, there was a lot of "new" for all of us. Building a new routine for our days, building a new routine for our learning, and learning new apps and digital tools. There were ups and downs, as expected, but we made it through. Unfortunately, last week several students experienced technological difficulties with the Assignments feature on Teams. On the bright side, I was also given some wonderful feedback from students on some features they'd like to see in how their work is structured. As a result of this feedback, I'm switching the Daily List of Awesomeness to a new app (Microsoft OneNote) so that it is hopefully a touch more easy to navigate. Of course, we'll need to get the hang of it, but I find ripping off the band-aid and just doing it a better learning experience than inching step by step. I know I'm not right there to guide you, but I am just a video call away! The weekly update video below is quite long because of this change. It walks you through how to access our Daily List on Microsoft OneNote and how to complete student assignments on there. If you have a phone, I recommend pulling up this video there, watching carefully, and trying to follow along on your schoolwork device. Next, check out our weekly calendar and today's Daily List of Awesomeness (DLA). You can access each day's DLA from the listed links below, and I will update them daily. Please keep in mind that your child will need to sign in for you to see the content of the OneNote notebook.
Please send any questions for tech support into the "Tech Support" channel of Teams. I fully anticipate some confusion today but please don't stress too much. The dust will settle and we'll get into a rhythm. I promise. - Mrs. LS |
