Building self-confidence is hard when you're a preteen/teen, and it's even more challenging if you have any difficulties or differences like our main characters in Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus.
In the story, Aven writes a blog post where she shares 20 positive things about being armless. From the outside, it's easy to consider all the negatives to her disability, but she frames herself in a positive way, despite the bullying going on in her daily life.
Our task today will be to find 20 positive things about ourselves. This is a HARD ask whether you or not your are differently abled. Let's break the 20 things down into a few categories to make it easier:
